ABOUT US

THE ADVICE

- On the advice of a songwriter in the 1997 Songwriters Market.....Scott Roth Events was born. The advice was that in order to make a living in the entertainment world, one must present themselves as something already successful. As Garth Brooks said: "Success...is just keeping people from knowing youre a failure".

THE ADVICE IN ACTION

- Most songwriters are self published. They simply pushed until the right artist made their song big...but if you look in the liner notes of any song, there is a publisher listed. The owner of that publishing company is usually the artist themselves. It gives the impression of success. So Scott Roth, used a moniker to promote his songwriting.....PCL Records. (Google it lol)

CAPITOL RECORDS

- As Scott Roth learned more about the Music and Entertainment business, he eventually earned a degree in business management and an internship with Capitol Records.

STARS PRODUCTIONS

- After Capitol Records, Scott Roth went on to work full time with Stars Productions as an Entertainment Agent in training and as a Stage Tech for NJ Party Cover Band.....THE NERDS

WEDDINGS AND MORE

- THE NERDS perform over 100 Weddings a year, and it was through them that Scott Roth gained the valuable experience needed to branch out into a full entertainment and event planning company.....that and an interest in Photography......Let's have some FUN!!!!!!!
